Respite

I hadn't forgotten to blog! After my last post our internet promptly gave up the ghost until this morning. About the same time as our phone line went on the blink so did my health and that of the girls. My Mum and her partner kindly took us and our germs in for a bit of respite care away from the building works. As you can see their house was a positive idyll, offering a garden, a 'froggy duvet' and fab meals that I did not have to plan, cook or clear up after. Bliss.

I have so much to report from electronic limbo. Good things happened to outweigh the illness, such as a little holiday, a visit to the Big Smoke and a visit from dear friends. Oh my goodness it is so good to be back in cyberspace....it is worrying how much we rely on it. See you here again soon and I will be round your way too. I have so much to catch up on.

  1. Isn't it so nice to be taken care of when you are not feeling well? As a mom, we are usually the one taking care everyone. It looks like Spring arrived early for you...such gorgeous photos!

  2. Horrible to be ill so much isn't it? I'm just rolling from one virus onto the next these days it seems. I remember when I NEVER got ill. That was before I became a mum. Hope you manage to fight the germs off for a while now! I swear I've spent a absolute fortune on Kleenex Balsam tissues this winter. X

  3. Surely you've all had your fair share of illness now???

Your mum's garden is looking beautiful, especially the blossom and snow drops. I need some of that gardening magic in my pitiful back garden.
