Treasury tool supported by the dog house
One thing I am really enjoying about our house being ripped apart at the seams and put back together again is planning how it will be decorated. I definitely subscribe to the school of thought that you should live somewhere and pick carefully over time. Thus I have been coveting many household items, prints, furniture and numerous fripperies rather than actually purchasing anything. Of course we have some items from our previous flat but many things were flat pack or cast offs that were so old and knackered they will not be making it to the other side of the renovation.
However, we are definitely reaching a tipping point in proceedings and are starting to purchase accordingly. I strongly suspect some of these may make it into our home. So lovely people, which do you advise?!

I totally agree that it's good to live somewhere for a while before you change things and work out what is right for the space. Like your choices but my personal favourite is the rainbow print, it's so happy with a great vintage feel. x
ReplyDeleteGreat treasury! I would find it very difficult to choose just one but the 'Big Books' one made me giggle :-)
ReplyDeleteMe too Suzie!
DeleteOh Abs, great treasury!
ReplyDeleteThey are all pretty great but my favourite, without a doubt, is the shipping forecast print. I love the colour and the style and, well, you know I basically live for Radio 4 and tea.

I am already in touch with the artist and waiting for the blue/grey one to be printed again, I adore it. I think I may need the tea and buns and e rainbow one too! Xxxx
DeleteI carry your heart, definitely, decor wise it will go with anything and you will never tire of the words :)
ReplyDeleteAnnie I love the poem. We had it as a reading at our wedding.
